Short version: I use your details to reply to you. Nothing else.
Who I am
Ben Brierley. You can reach me at ben@dottyanddash.ai. I am the data controller for anything you send through this site.
What I collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email, your company name, your rough company size and your message. There is no tracking, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to ask you about.
What I do with it
Your message is emailed to me so I can reply. The email is sent through Resend, an email provider, and it sits in my inbox after that. I do not sell it, share it, or add you to any mailing list.
Why I am allowed to
Legitimate interest. You asked me to get in touch, so I get in touch.
How long I keep it
If we end up working together, for as long as the business relationship lasts plus six years for tax records. If we do not, I delete the thread within two years.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will do it within a month. If you are not happy with how I handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security. I do not read them.
